Peter Windschmitt

Peter Windschmitt, Director of Rail Operations for Quandel Consultants, has 15 years of operating and planning experience in the rail industry. Prior to joining Quandel in 2018, Peter worked at Union Pacific Railroad as a Train Dispatcher and then in the Network Planning and Transportation Systems groups. From 2013 – 2018, Peter was the lead operations planner for the Brightline/Virgin Trains Miami – Orlando startup. Peter is excited by the variety of projects as well as the development and integration of new planning tools that allows Quandel Consultants solve our clients’ challenges in a meaningful and creative manner.
